An illustrated talk by Kate Brazier

Thursday 2 November at 3pm in Wye Church

An illustrated talk about the work of the FANYs, both historical and current with a generous input of interesting and often amusing anecdotes about the women who served from 1907 to the present day. Kate Brazier is a decorated, long-standing FANY with a broad experience of the work that this voluntary organisation performs. All are welcome to come and enjoy a stimulating talk followed by tea and homemade cakes.  Entry is free, but donations are welcome to support the work of The Friends and FANYs.

 Remembering Service at Wye Church

We are holding a special Service of Remembering on Sunday 5th November at 3pm at Wye Church.  It will be a time of remembering and thanksgiving for those we love who have died. We will be remembering particularly members of our families and communities who have died in the last 2 years.  We invite you and any friends and relatives who would like to join us.  We will light a candle in memory of each person so if you would like to remember a loved one by name please let us know beforehand or as you come into the church.
