Celebration Service at Wye Church on Sunday 8th January at 6:30pm. Visiting Speaker: Adrian Plass. Adrian is a writer and speaker who has produced over thirty books in the last 20 years. His work also includes contribution to national and local radio and television. Live presentations combine humour, poetry, and storytelling, largely revolving around his own inadequacies and struggles as a Christian and a human being.
Wye Community Christmas Card the card is now available in Wye Church and consists of a bare branch to be decorated with stars carrying our Christmas greetings to each, other. The idea is to cut down on the amount of paper used in sending cards and donate the money instead to charity: Friends of the Holy Land. So, simply write your greeting on a star, hang it on a branch and make a donation. With thanks. Eco-congregation Group
Wye Church Hospitality Sunday In order to help us get to know one another better, we are holding a Hospitality Sunday – on Sunday 22nd January 2012. From January, there will be 2 lists in Wye Church – one to sign if you would like to be invited to lunch and one to sign if you would like to host a lunch. (There will be opportunity to say how many people you are happy to invite). We will gather up the lists and put people from the two lists in touch with one another.
